Erin Maier

Erin Maier, based in New York, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Technology and Financial Services practices while also more broadly covering media. Clients value her ability to understand their challenges and provide sound, insightful advice for navigating difficult situations, from technology and change management issues across acquisition integration all the way to corporate transformations and restructuring. Erin draws on over a decade of management-level experience advising and guiding executive teams, helping them develop transformative programs and take inclusive approaches to overcome roadblocks and drive growth.

A strong leader positively impacts not only an organization, but also an industry or even an entire society. I love helping the right people find the right roles to make that magic happen.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Erin spent 11 years at Dow Jones in New York, where she advanced to the position of Senior Vice President within Product and Technology, overseeing the integration of three major acquisitions as well as various multimillion-dollar savings initiatives. As Senior Vice President of Strategy & Operations, her work spanned all aspects of product and technology, including vendor management, product development, shared services, data, IT, infrastructure and cyber. This was preceded by her role as Chief of Staff to the CEO and leading roles within Business Operations and Communications. Erin began her career as a Senior Public Relations Associate with the STARKMAN consultancy, also in New York.

Erin earned a BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts with a year studying abroad at the University of Oxford in England. She and her husband have two children.
