Katie Kenney, based in New York, is a consultant in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Technology & Communications Practice Groups. She focuses on advising CEOs and boards on senior leadership appointments, executive succession, and leadership development in complex, regulated, and growth-oriented environments. She has developed a strong expertise and network in the fintech industry – specifically in digital assets, payments and consumer banking. Katie takes a practical, people-centered approach, pairing rigorous analysis with a strong sensitivity to human dynamics.

Katie joined Egon Zehnder in 2017, supporting clients across financial services and growing the Global Fintech Practice. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work. She began her career in technology consulting at Accenture.
Katie holds a BBA in IT Management with a Certificate in International Business from the University of Notre Dame. She has completed executive education in family systems theory at Georgetown University’s Bowen Center as well as psychoanalytic studies at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. Originally from Kansas City, she now calls New York home and takes full advantage of the city’s cultural scene.
