Based in Paris, Axel Zimmer partners with leaders to drive organizational and cultural transformations through leadership development, team journeys and systemic change. A trusted advisor, he brings over 15 years of experience in leadership transformation across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia, bringing a strong multicultural perspective to his work.
I believe that transformation begins with deep listening—when leaders connect with themselves and each other, they create the space for meaningful and lasting change.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Axel founded and led two consultancy start-ups—Fabric and Yuman—where he served as President and Partner, respectively, focusing on leadership and organizational transformation. He has worked with over 30 publicly traded companies and their leadership teams around the world. Earlier in his career, he worked at Secor KPMG in Paris and Montreal, and spent four years in the space industry, where he advised clients on strategic and organizational challenges.
Axel holds a Master of Science in Management from Boston University and a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University. He is certified in Integral Facilitation, Immunity to Change, and DISC. Outside of work, Axel is an avid yoga practitioner, runs a book club, and is currently learning to play the acoustic guitar.
