Thibault Terrien, based in Santiago, is a consultant at Egon Zehnder’s Services Practice Group. With a focus on leadership advisory and executive search, he supports CEOs and boards navigating digital and operational transformations, growth, succession, and governance, particularly across financial services, consumer, and mobility sectors in Latin America. His consulting approach is grounded in attentive listening and humility, combining an execution-oriented mindset with a deep respect for leaders’ perspectives to turn complex, high-stakes challenges into clear and lasting outcomes.
What inspires me is the opportunity to support leaders as they step into new roles and navigate complex situations that call for thoughtful decisions and careful attention to the people involved.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Thibault worked at McKinsey & Company in Santiago, supporting large-scale transformations across consumer, industrial, energy, and mobility sectors in Latin America. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at LATAM Airlines Group in senior roles across revenue management and strategic partnerships.
Thibault holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master of International Studies from the Lauder Institute, both at the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Excelia Business School (France). Outside of work, he enjoys running, cooking, reading, and exploring topics related to aviation, geopolitics, and technology. He is also a member of a mentoring program at the Universidad de Chile.
