Sanjay Gour, based in Singapore, is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Technology & Communications Solutions practices focusing on Banking, FinTech, Digital and Enterprise Solutions. He draws on extensive business transformation experience for global multinationals. Sanjay is passionate about inspiring leaders to give their very best, serving as a catalyst for connecting, engaging, and bringing out the best in people and teams.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sanjay gained over 20 years of experience facilitating large-scale business and digital transformations for various global organizations. Most recently, he led omnichannel wealth management and digital transformation at UBS Wealth Management in Southeast Asia, delivering a number of award-winning wealth management digital client and sales force solutions and spearheading the birth of Evolve, UBS’s first private banking innovation center in Asia, in partnership with the public and private sector. Before that Sanjay was a manager at ANZ Bank in Australia in charge of business performance and technology optimization. Earlier, he served as the Vice President for Strategy and Planning at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Asia Pacific. That was preceded by the role of Head of Presales for ASEAN at Oracle Corporation. Sanjay launched his career as a Senior Sales Consultant with Accenture Corporation, specializing in business process reengineering.
Sanjay earned a degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and later a Master’s of Science in management science and operational research from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom. He is also a certified Design Thinker, having earned a coaching certificate from the National University of Singapore.
In his spare time Sanjay advises innovative early stage startups that focus on healthcare, user experience design, technology and social impact. This blends well with his mission of directly making a difference in the lives of over 5,000 people globally, using his strategic thinking talent, and his quest to improve life through creativity, engagement, and innovation. As a Singaporean, Sanjay’s speaks multiple languages including Malay and Hindi. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, young daughter and two dogs and is also an avid runner and Ironman triathlete who has competed in races in Australia, Europe, and the U.S.
