The multifaceted nature of candidates, clients, organizations and society poses complex puzzles. I’m inspired by having opportunities to solve them and pave the way to better leadership.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Kálmán held the roles of the Head of Delivery for European operations and GM for Hungary at Accedo, a Swedish software developer. Before that, he headed the Strategic Management Department of Erste Bank and served as a Supervisory Board member of Erste Pension Fund, both in Hungary. Earlier, as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, Kálmán worked with telecommunications and energy clients across CEE. He has also taught courses on structured thinking and how to write and hold better presentations.
Kálmán earned an MSc in Business and Economics from Janus Pannonius University in Hungary with studies in Austria, Denmark and the USA and an MBA from the Singapore campus of INSEAD. He speaks fluent Hungarian, English and German. Outside work, Kálmán is devoted to his fiancée and two sons and also enjoys playing basketball and outdoor sports, especially running, climbing via ferratas, sailing, and skiing (he is a licensed ski instructor).
