Mateus Panosso leads Egon Zehnder’s Building Materials and Construction Practice in the US, while also being active in the firm’s Industrial and Sustainability practices.

Working with clients to draw out and nurture genuine, transparent, and generous leadership that transforms teams and businesses is my daily inspiration.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Mateus was the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development with Armstrong World Industries, helping the business acquire specialty building products and off-site construction companies. Prior to that, he was Director of Innovation, Director of Strategy, Global Marketing Director, and General Manager at DuPont. His early career also included experiences as a computer programmer, strategy consultant, and entrepreneur.

He holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business and an MA in International Studies, both from University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in business and a BA in Russian from Miami University. Outside of work, Mateus enjoys endurance sports, sailing, and spending time with his four children.
