Avitai (Ty) Gold advises Boards, CEOs and investors across sectors on a range of leadership issues. Ty also leads Egon Zehnder’s Global Sports Practice and believes in the enduring power of sports to connect and entertain diverse groups in the face of an ever-evolving experiential and media landscape. Accordingly, Ty advises professional leagues, teams, private equity firms, technology companies, media platforms, and other sports-related organizations across the globe.

Ty brings multi-disciplinary and cross-sector experience in leadership and professional services. He brings extensive experience in sports, law, governance and other areas. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ty was an attorney at Proskauer Rose LLP, representing clients across sports and other industries. He then advised Boards and executives of multi-billion dollar organizations on governance, transactional, litigation, intellectual property, labor, regulatory, health care and other matters as a senior in-house attorney and consultant.
Ty earned a J.D. from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan. He also completed an intensive program in French, history, the fine arts and international business at La Sorbonne and the American University of Paris.
