Dani Aaron is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Technology practices and leads the firm’s Media segment in the US. She is a trusted advisor to private equity partners and other sponsors, drawing on deep operating experience in high growth technology environments to help clients recruit and onboard transformational leaders.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Dani spent many years at Uber, holding a series of operational and marketing leadership roles across its mobility and delivery businesses. As one of Uber’s first 500 employees, she helped launch and scale the company’s presence in New York, contributing to multiple phases of its rapid global growth. She later served as Director of Marketing and Sales Operations at Gopuff, an on demand consumer goods and food delivery startup, where she further honed her expertise in scaling teams and commercial functions. Earlier in her career, Dani worked in publishing across Montreal, New York, and Paris.
Dani earned a BA in sociology and communications from McGill University, where she was an Honor Society student. A bilingual dual Canadian/American citizen, she maintains strong ties to her hometown of Montreal. Dani lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband and two children.
