Egon Zehnder Announces New Global CEO Practice Leadership

NEW YORK and LONDON, September 21, 2015 – Egon Zehnder, a global leader in executive search and leadership advisory services, today announced that the firm’s Global CEO Practice will be led by partners George L. Davis, Jr., based in Boston and Kati Najipoor-Schütte, based in Frankfurt.

“Global business dynamics have evolved, making the CEO selection process more complex,” says George L. Davis, Jr., Global CEO Practice Lead. “Boards must now forecast the future, assess possibilities, and also mitigate risk.”

Egon Zehnder’s Global CEO Practice is comprised of 100 experienced consultants, with expertise across all industry segments and global markets. Informed by 10,000 senior executive assessments and over 1,000 CEO placements, the Global CEO Practice uses a proprietary process to benchmark CEO candidates on a global scale and support the board through all phases of CEO succession planning, assessment and development, CEO search and integration.

“As the global market for top executives gets tighter, boards must set the succession agenda and development of CEO candidates very early on,” says Kati Najipoor-Schütte, Global CEO Practice Lead. “CEO leadership must be assessed through a wider lens that includes understanding a leader’s potential for future success to ensure a chief executive who can meet the organization’s challenges today and tomorrow.”
