David Majtlis is based in Amsterdam. David works on CEO succession, senior executive development and coaching, and corporate governance mandates. He previously spent several years at the Firm’s Palo Alto office and is a member of the firms Technology and Communications Practice.

I’m a strong believer in a ‘growth mindset’ and the idea that a person is never too old to learn and develop. On the contrary: Oftentimes he or she is just not ready yet.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, David was an Amsterdam-based Associate with McKinsey & Company.

David earned an MSc in industrial engineering and business administration from the Eindhoven University of Technology and an MSc in economics from Tilburg University. He obtained an executive coaching qualification and has served as faculty on Egon Zehnder leadership programs for clients, as well on in-house coaching training programs. When not working, more than anything else David likes to spend time with his family. One of his hobbies is sailing traditional Dutch boats. He also loves reading history, politics, and psychology, as a way of making sense of leadership in the world today.
