Friedrich Kuhn is a core member of the Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice, and is the former global leader of the firm’s Life Science Practice. He works closely with clients in the field, particularly those focused on consumer centricity, digital health, and the transformation of healthcare systems. Having developed the Egon Zehnder Transformational Leadership framework, Friedrich leads a global group focused on using these transformation solutions to help CEOs, top teams, and entire organizations be more responsive, proactive, and competitive in today’s rapidly-changing business environment. A veteran healthcare consultant as well as expert in executive search and recruitment, Friedrich also helps organizations attract and integrate top talent for their leadership teams. He has led numerous projects to assess, select and develop internal talent for challenging business situations such as post-merger integration, organizational transformation and new-market entry.More
Friedrich started his professional career at McKinsey & Company in Munich as an Associate and quickly grew into the Engagement Manager role. He worked with clients on a range of challenging issues including post-merger integration, reshaping of the global value chain, organizational redesign after a fundamental market transformation, and implementing culture change to improve competitiveness. In 2000 he left McKinsey & Company to join the Board of Blueorbit E-Business AG, a business consulting and implementation provider with a strong focus on the healthcare market.
Friedrich studied Mathematics and Philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and the University of Pisa, earning an MA in Mathematics and a PhD in Philosophy.
