Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Simmi worked as an entrepreneur, business leader, investor and management consultant. Specific experiences include leading the restructuring and divestiture of multi-billion dollar corporate assets at CNA; crafting disruptive business models at Revolution Health and with her consulting clients at Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Ernst & Young; and leading the rapid, profitable scaling of two successful technology services businesses: SeraNova and Cognizant.

Simmi earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and holds a BSc in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from St. Joseph's College.

She has served as Senior Advisor on Health Innovation to the Secretary of Health and Human Services; as Vice-Chair and Chair of the former Center for Health Information Management (CHIM) Board; and as a Director on the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society Board. She is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences ranging from Rock Health and the National Conference of State Legislatures. She has served as guest lecturer at the Yale School of Management Executive MBA Program and as a member of the Provost’s International Visiting Committee at Case Western Reserve University. Simmi is the recipient of multiple industry awards including the HIMSS Annual Leadership Award for outstanding contributions to the health sector.
