Jonathan Edwards, based in Boston, is a consultant within Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications Practice Group. He brings deep enterprise technology sector background experience to his client engagements, combining expertise in SaaS, cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity with a human-first, values-driven approach that emphasizes integrity, empathy, and long-term partnerships to drive sustainable growth and success.

Prior to rejoining Egon Zehnder, Jonathan was Head of Executive and Leadership Recruitment at Red Hat. Later, he created and led the executive search practice for Private Equity-backed Wilson HCG and most recently served as partner at True Search, supporting growth equity/PE clients and pre/post-IPO technology firms such as GitLab and Atlassian. He began his career as an industry analyst before transitioning into executive search.
Jonathan holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and History from Boston College. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, cooking, gardening, exploring Cape Cod, and spending time with his dog, Quin. He has also been a long-term mentor through Biggie’s Kids of Boston.
