Philippe Loewenstein, based in Brussels, advises clients on executive and board search, management appraisal, and leadership consulting. A partner of the Firm, Philippe is a Core Member of several of the Firm’s Global Practices, in particular the Health Practice of which he led the European section for five years until recently, as well as the Global Supply Chain and the Global Communications & Public Affairs Practices.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Philippe spent close to fifteen years working for Pfizer Inc. in a variety of general management positions, his last role being Senior Director of Corporate Affairs Europe. Previously, he was a Director in Pfizer’s European Financial Shared Services; Business Unit Director in Neuroscience for Denmark; General Manager of Animal Health, Nordics; Area Manager of Animal Health, Central Europe, successively based in Brussels, Copenhagen and Dublin.
Philippe has a BSc in veterinary sciences from the University of Namur in Belgium and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Liège in Belgium.
He is a certified private pilot, and his other passions include playing the classical organ, breeding Wagyu cattle, motorcycling, tennis, gastronomy and oenology.
