Magali McIntyre co-leads Egon Zehnder’s global Consumer Financial Services, Payments, FinTech and Digital Assets practices, where she advises both established institutions and disruptive innovators on identifying and developing transformational leaders. In addition, she co-leads the firm’s Tech Private Equity practice in EMEA, partnering with investors and portfolio companies in consumer technology and software to shape leadership strategies that drive growth. Her expertise spans Board, CEO, CFO, and technology leadership roles, with a particular focus on founder-CEO succession and senior team development. Passionate about the transformative power of technology, Magali brings extensive experience in data and analytics, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, helping clients harness innovation for lasting impact.

Magali began her career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, specialising in mergers and acquisitions within the telecommunications and media sectors as a senior associate. She then transitioned to become the Founder of an award-winning marketplace for career advice, as well as a fintech provider of real-time intelligence for high-yield debt investors.
Magali has a master’s degree in business from ESSEC Business School in Paris and studied Law at the University of Cergy.

Magali started her career at Arthur Anderson in Paris in 2000 in transaction services and restructuring and then moved into a mid-cap M&A business segment at Arthur Andersen as an analyst. She joined Lehman Brothers investment banking division in 2002 as part of the TMT team as a senior associate until 2008. She is the founder of three tech companies launched between 2011 and 2015: route-in, an interview preparation platform, Nuggle, a social media mobile app and Debtscribe, a real-time intelligence site for the high yield debt market. She also held roles as advisor and mentor in the London start-up community.
