Based in Malmö and Stockholm, Tess is active across Egon Zehnder’s Sustainability, Energy and Cleantech, Private Equity and Financial Services Practices. With a background in renewables and finance, Tess has a first-hand understanding of the forces driving the energy transition, and a longstanding interest in sustainability. Drawing on her international leadership experience in both large corporate organisations and entrepreneurial scale-ups, she is a valued advisor on senior executive searches, management team assessments, succession planning, and leadership development.
The transition to a sustainable economy is the defining issue of our time. I’m passionate about helping our clients find and develop leaders that can turn that challenge into opportunity, inspire their organisations, and create lasting value.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder Tess held executive roles (CEO, CFO, MD) and business ownership in the European renewable energy industry, culminating in the exit sale of Green Hedge Group, a developer and operator of renewable energy and battery storage projects. Before her move to the energy sector, Tess spent her early career at Goldman Sachs in London.
Tess holds a BSc in Government and Economics and an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family in the Swedish countryside, gardening, reading and exploring nature.
