David Campbell leads Egon Zehnder’s Board, Industrial and Consumer practices in Australia and New Zealand. He specialises in Board and CEO succession and is a trusted advisor on leadership development, executive transition, team effectiveness and organisational culture. He thrives on helping leaders grow themselves, their teams and their businesses. David also enjoys working closely with various social-purpose organisations, helping them with their talent decisions and leadership development.

In his corporate career, he has worked across the value chain, including manufacturing, supply chain, technology, sales, marketing and strategy, culminating in leadership of a beverages business and a retail business.
David earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours as well as a Bachelor of Science from Monash University. He also holds an MBA, with Distinction, from the Melbourne Business School. Additionally, David serves on the boards of the Carlton Football Club, Kilfinan Australia and DB Results. He strives to stay fit and healthy, and when not working, he spends as much time as possible with his wife, their four adult children, and their grandchild.
