United Kingdom: The Enhanced Code of Conduct for Search Firms
After publication of the Davies Review in 2011, an accreditation process was created to acknowledge executive search firms at the forefront of helping boards to enhance gender diversity – consistent with their overall objective of helping clients build great boards. The key measure to qualify for this accreditation is to ensure that women make up at minimum 33% of the non-executive board member and executive board member placements in FTSE350 companies. Egon Zehnder was among the firms which helped to develop the code of conduct for the search industry, in line with recommendations by Lord Davies.
