Based in Rotterdam, Maarten Douma is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial practice. He leverages his quick mind, solid theoretical grounding, and extensive hands-on experience to help clients maximize their bottom line.

I love coaching talented people to help them get the best possible results and really make a difference for clients.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Maarten was Investment Director at Indofin Group, a Rotterdam based private equity firm. Maarten served on various Boards in the Netherlands and abroad, including IHC IQIP and Northpoint Resources (Canada).

Maarten earned two master’s degrees from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, one in financial economics and the other in financial law. Married with three children, outside work he enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team, golfing, bicycle racing, and writing (among other things, he authored a weekly column in Het Financieele Dagblad (FD), the leading Dutch financial newspaper).
