Before joining Egon Zehnder, Tim founded a startup company that was active in the digitalization of furniture, with a focus on business-to-business and distributed manufacturing. Tim was also COO and Deputy CEO of Norther, the largest offshore wind farm in Belgium. Earlier he was a member of the executive committee of Belgium Offshore Platform. He began his career as Project Manager for ports and offshore infrastructure projects at Artes Group, and spent more than eight years in the energy sector.
Tim has a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Ghent and an MBA from the Vlerick Business School. He also holds a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of work, Tim is an avid sportsman who enjoys running, cycling, tennis, and yoga, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is also a coach with YAR, an organization that helps young people take control of their lives.
