Jason Hecker, based in Chicago, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Consumer, Industrial, and Chief Marketing Officers practices. He applies his deep industry expertise to help both B2B and B2C companies with top talent needs, specializing in marketing, innovation, digital, communications, and R&D. Jason also regularly advises companies on leadership and talent strategies and conducts management appraisals.

I love working at the hub of massive change, where there’s the potential to have lasting impact, both on companies’ futures and on people’s lives.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Jason worked for more than 20 years as a global business executive at early-stage ventures and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he was the Chief Commercial Officer of PureCircle Limited, the world’s leading innovator and producer of Stevia sweeteners and flavors. Before that, Jason managed a wide range of major brand portfolios and drove the development of new products at Kraft Foods Group Inc. Earlier in his career, Jason served as the Head of Strategic Consulting Services for Organic Inc. in Chicago.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology as a natural science (with distinction) from the University of Michigan. He then completed an MBA in marketing and strategy (with high distinction) from the Kellogg School of Management. In his private life, his main passion is his family. Jason and his wife frequently go to watch their sons play ice hockey or their daughter figure skate. He also enjoys playing golf and traveling to distant parts of the globe.
