Xavier Leroy, based in Paris and Sub-Saharan Africa, advises on talent strategy, CEO succession, and board effectiveness for organizations in the natural resources, retail, finance, and health-care sectors. With deep expertise in Africa, he is active in Egon Zehnder’s Board, Industrial, Services, and Government practices.
Being surrounded by smart people who are impacting the world and creating collective wealth is particularly important in Africa, where visionary individuals can have a significant effect on a large number of people.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Xavier held senior strategy and marketing roles at Sanofi in France, the U.S., and Japan. Previously, he was a senior consultant with Monitor Company, based in Paris, Hong Kong, and Bombay. Xavier was also an Assistant General Manager for Air France in Southern Africa.
Xavier has an MA in business economics from ESSEC in Paris and an MA in political science from Institut d’Etudes Politiques, also in Paris. He is passionate about mangos and Legos.
