Sameera, based in New Delhi, leads client engagements in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice Group, spanning Executive & Board search, as well as Leadership & Board Advisory. She partners with private equity firms, family businesses, and multinational clients across natural resources, process industries, clean energy, and mobility—including within the EV value chain, from downstream automotive suppliers and OEMs to upstream battery mineral producers. Sameera brings over a decade of deep specialization in mining and metals—an industry central to industrial sectors and the global decarbonization agenda.

Sameera draws on nearly 20 years of experience in management consulting roles, advising companies globally on business and talent strategies. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, she was a core member of Ernst & Young’s Global Industrial Practice, focused on strategic market intelligence and transaction advisory services. Sameera began her career as an underwriter at GE Capital. She is particularly passionate about helping companies strengthen their leadership and advance their sustainability journeys. She has published several thought leadership papers, including on the leadership implications of ESG, and has been a guest speaker on the future impact of the transition to green energy.
Sameera earned a B.Com. degree from Delhi University and a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD. Outside work, Sameera enjoys collecting art, reading historical fiction, discovering great music, and travelling widely.
