Based in London, Andres de Orleans-Borbon is part of Egon Zehnder’s global Private Equity and Financial Officers practices. His deep experience with private capital makes him an expert advisor on talent and investment strategies to limited and general partnerships. Andres leads executive search projects for investment, operations, and fundraising positions, as well as for portfolio company leaders.
I like asking and being asked questions to which the answer is unknown. Finding solutions to complex problems is exciting and rewarding for me.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Andres was a member of the investment team of Helios Investment Partners LLP, an Africa-focused PE fund, and then became the CFO of one of its portfolio companies, Helios Towers Africa, a pan-African telecommunications infrastructure enterprise. While in that role he oversaw all financial and IT operations and led business development and fundraising activities. Andres began his career as a banker in leveraged finance at J.P. Morgan.
Andres earned a degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy. When not working, he is passionate about his family and friends.
