Connect With Me

Based in London, Dale McDermott belongs to Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Public & Social Sector practices. He leverages his broad consulting and public sector experience to insightfully help clients across these industries master their challenges. He is trusted by leading UK, European and multinational companies and organisations to provide expert counsel on executive and board search opportunities and help address crucial talent-related issues such as succession planning, executive assessment and development, and effective integration.

I’ve experienced first-hand the impact that good leadership can have on people, organisations, and societies, and I am passionate about connecting talented individuals with important opportunities to make a real difference in our world.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Dale was Chief Operating Officer at CGLCC, Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, responsible for all activities, programming, and policy. Before, he was Senior Project Lead in the global strategy and operations practice of Salesforce. Earlier, Dale was Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young, advising clients across Ireland, the United Kingdom and Canada.

He is a member of the Banff Forum, a community of global leaders committed to reinvigorating debate about public policy issues with the goal of building a better Canada. Dale has been named a Fellow of the DiverseCity Fellows program by CivicAction, an acclaimed initiative that cultivates rising leaders in Toronto. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Canadian Club Toronto, Canada’s oldest public affairs podium. Dale also served as President of Young Fine Gael, the youth wing of Ireland’s governing political party, Fine Gael.
