Ana Paula González works out of Egon Zehnder’s Miami office as a member of the Private Equity, Technology and Communications, and Sustainability practices. Her deep investment and management experience building tech and impact ecosystems worldwide has optimally prepared her to sensitively and acutely meet clients’ needs. Ana is also active in the Firm’s Leadership Development Practice.
I am excited by the challenge to be a thought partner to current and future leaders, helping navigate times of unprecedented complexity, and steering organizations toward growth and a more sustainable future.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ana was with SoftBank (one of the world’s largest investment funds) building out its investment platform in Miami. Before that she was at 500 Global (previously 500 Startups, one of the most active early stage-tech global VC funds), where she launched the Miami office and then grew and led the Global Ecosystem Development team. Earlier, Ana was an Investment Manager and the Director of Business Strategy at New Ventures, the premier impact investment group for Latin America. She launched her career as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in the Private Equity practice.
Ana earned a BA in International Business with honors from Tec de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico while spending an exchange year at ESCP-EAP Europe in Paris, and an MBA from Columbia Business School with honors. A former dancer of 20 years, Ana is proud of her heritage as a Tapatía, as the natives of Guadalajara, México are called, and when not working loves traveling widely, reading, munching on dark chocolate, and practicing yoga.
