Based in New York, Amanda Brown is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Banking & Markets practice, focused on investment banking, capital markets, and private capital, with a particular focus on investor relations. Her foundation spanning capital markets execution and institutional investor engagement brings a distinctive perspective to executive search and leadership advisory. She advises a broad range of investment banks and alternative asset managers, drawing on firsthand experience across both the sell side and buy side.
The right leadership decision can shape the future of an organization, just as the right opportunity can unlock a leader’s full potential. Being trusted to help both sides navigate those decisions is a privilege.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Amanda began her career at J.P. Morgan, where she worked across sales and syndicate within the Securitized Products business, executing financing transactions for institutional clients and advising on pricing, investor allocations, and market dynamics. She later transitioned into Investor Relations roles, first at Anchorage Capital and most recently at Blackstone within the Credit & Insurance group, where she advised on capital raising, investor strategy, and institutional client engagement.
Amanda earned an A.B. (Honors) in Politics from Princeton University with a concentration in International Relations. She also played on its nationally ranked women’s basketball team and is passionate about giving back to the next generation of student athletes, currently in the role of communications chair for the Friends of Princeton Basketball board. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons.
