Michael Kane, based in Washington, D.C., is a part of Egon Zehnder’s Services and Industrial Practice Groups. With a strong background in strategy, operations, and culture transformation, Michael excels at breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions, fostering trust, and long-term partnerships through consistent, transparent communication with his clients.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Michael was a partner at Arrowhead Leadership Consulting. Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company, leading large-scale operational and organizational transformations. Earlier in his career, he served as an infantry Officer in the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger.
Michael holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Maryland. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two young sons, especially at the park or hiking trails. He alsovolunteers with American Corporate Partners and is a member of 51 Vets, both are organizations that assist with veterans transitioning to civilian careers.
