Based in Athens, Marios Kassinos primarily advises clients on executive recruitment as well as leadership and talent development. He is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice, leveraging his experience mainly in the areas of corporate and investment banking.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Marios was Deputy CEO for a start-up bank in Greece, overseeing the Corporate, Retail and Digital Banking units. He previously worked for Piraeus Bank, Greece’s largest bank, first as a Senior Director for the Corporate and Investment Banking Unit and later as an Assistant General Manager reporting directly to the CEO. Earlier in his career, Marios spent 15 years in the advisory profession, starting with PwC in the U.S. and Cyprus, moving on to EY in Greece, where he progressed to Partner specializing in Transaction Advisory Services. While at EY, he also held several senior leadership roles, such as Divestment Advisory Services Leader and Executives Learning & Development Leader for Central and Southeast Europe.
Marios holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of work, Marios enjoys traveling the world and photography.
