Maitée Soares de Camargo advises health and agribusiness clients on CEO succession, management team assessment, leadership development, and leadership team effectiveness. Based in São Paulo, she leads Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice in Latin America. Maitée also has deep experience working with consumer goods companies. She is active in Egon Zehnder’s Executive Assessment and Development and Human Resources practices.

Whether I’m developing leaders, supporting clients in their people decisions, or helping a team leverage each member’s strengths, I want to touch people’s lives.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Maitée was Director of the Infectious Disease, Transplant & Immunology Business Unit of Novartis Pharma in Brazil. Previously, she was a Manager with AT Kearney in São Paulo and Paris. Earlier, Maitée was a Business Analyst with Accenture in São Paulo.

Maitée has a BA in business administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, in Sao Paulo, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside of work, she loves watching her two sons grow up and spending time on her family’s farm. She also enjoys reading autobiographies and playing beach tennis with her friends.
