Katherine Cary, based in Melbourne, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Financial Officers practices. Her deep experience in strategy and in the banking sector makes her a valued advisor to clients.

It is an incredible privilege to work with talented leaders and help them have the greatest possible impact in their organisations.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Katherine had various senior strategy positions at the National Australia Bank in Melbourne. Before that she held senior strategy roles at Westpac Bank in Sydney and its subsidiary, St. George Bank, helping the executive team respond to disruption in financial services. Earlier, Katherine was a consultant at Booz & Company in Melbourne, New York and Sydney, working on projects in Asia, the UK and Australia that included a secondment to SEEK Limited prior to its IPO.

Katherine earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside work, she stays fit by swimming and enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and two young children.
