Before joining Egon Zehnder, Suzana had a lengthy career at Volkswagen, which she joined as a HR staff member and spent 3 years in Germany as expatriate. After returning to Brazil, she advanced to the position of Chief of Staff and supported the CEO of the SAM Region in achieving strategic objectives while serving as a liaison to corporate headquarters in Germany. Suzana’s career culminated as the head of the company’s open innovation and business transformation office, using agile mindset methodologies to improve management practices.
Suzana graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in Brazil with a bachelor’s degree in business administration while spending a year abroad at Siegen University in Germany. She then obtained an MBA from the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and completed the FIA Business School’s advanced JUMP program. Outside work, Suzana enjoys mentoring young leaders and professionals, reading widely, and barbecuing with family and friends.
