Christian Fischer works with boards, owners and CEOs on senior leadership appointments, typically in situations where the context is complex and the stakes are high. His work sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership and ownership, often in industrial, consumer and private equity owned businesses navigating transition, growth or change. Christian has worked internationally across listed companies, family owned businesses and portfolio environments, and is accustomed to mandates involving multiple stakeholders and long term succession considerations. A fluent German speaker, he is frequently involved in assignments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Christian held senior operating and leadership roles in international businesses. He served as Managing Director for Scandinavia at Innocent Drinks and previously as Group Operations Director at Carlsberg Breweries in Copenhagen, with responsibility for the European supply chain. Earlier in his career, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group in Copenhagen, advising clients on strategy development and performance improvement across industrial, operational and telecommunications contexts. This combination of operating and advisory experience continues to inform his work with boards, owners and CEOs today.
Christian holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of International Management (CEMS) from the University of St. Gallen. Outside of work, he enjoys kitesurfing and spending time with family and friends, and values activities that provide contrast to a largely conversation driven professional life.
