Martin Nordestgaard Knudsen leads Egon Zehnder’s Technology and Communications Practice for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Based in Copenhagen, he advises global tech companies and Scandinavian companies in the shipping, industry, life sciences, and financial services sectors. Martin has deep expertise recruiting chief information officers, chief digital officers, and CFOs, and works with clients and boards on sucession planning, talent management strategy, senior leadership development, and accelerated integration support to executives transitioning to new roles.

Technology and people can help drive change in established businesses. I enjoy supporting those at the top of the house so they can unleash their potential and create high-performing teams.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Martin was Product and Marketing Manager with Johnson & Johnson, based in Stockholm. Previously, he was a Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and Netdecsions. Martin began his career as a Project Manager for Jebsen & Jessen, based in Singapore.

Martin has a BSc in business administration and commercial law from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from IESE in Barcelona, Spain. He bikes to the office year-round and is passionate about travel to remote places.
