Jörg Janke, based in Frankfurt, is Head of the CFO Practice Group and advises clients on the appointment of CFOs, executives, and board members, as well as broader leadership services and talent-related matters. In addition, he is a member of the firm's global Private Equity Practice. Beyond his work with corporate clients, Jörg also advises leading financial institutions with a focus on Corporate Banking and Investment Banking, bringing deep expertise at the intersection of finance, leadership, and governance.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Jörg was an Executive Director in Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division in Frankfurt, specializing in capital markets and M&A transactions. He began his career at Deutsche Beteiligungsgesellschaft (DBAG), the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank, before joining Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking Division, where he focused on corporate finance transactions, particularly initial public offerings.
Jörg holds an MBA from the University of Georgia (USA) and a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann), with studies at the Universities of Cologne and Bielefeld as well as HEC Paris. He is passionate about engaging in outdoor activities and travelling with his family.
