Darpan Kalra

Darpan Kalra enjoys engaging with boards, CEOs, and senior management teams on C-suite succession, leadership transformation, board effectiveness, and corporate governance. Based in New Delhi, he leads the India segment of the firm’s Board Consulting, Services and Legal, Regulatory & Compliance practices. As a generalist, Darpan works across sectors and is active in diverse areas such as telecommunications, consumer Internet, digital, IT products and services, professional services, industrials, real estate, and global capability centers. He values being a trusted advisor to family businesses, small to large Indian transnationals, Venture Capital and Private Equity-backed portfolio companies and multinational organizations.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Darpan was a Senior Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in India and a Senior Analyst with A.T. Kearney in the United States and India, where he advised on globalization, organizational effectiveness, growth, restructuring, and efficiency themes.

Darpan has a BA with honors in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He has served on the board of the Harvard Club of India.
