Based in Milan, Emanuela Cancogni is the Global co-Leader of the Health Practice. She is a trusted advisor to clients in Health (with focus on Pharma) with extensive experience in supporting shareholders in Governance and CEO succession topics. Emanuela works extensively with Family-Owned Businesses and private equity backed portfolio companies in her sector of focus. Her engaging personality allows her to serve as an effective change agent in complex situations, facilitating positive outcomes in executive search, management appraisal and development journeys for individuals and executive teams.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Emanuela was a manager with Bain & Company in Italy, France, and Luxembourg. She led strategy and organization projects in growth and turnaround contexts across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on consumer goods. Previously, Emanuela was an intern at the European Commission, Directorate General for Health and Consumer Protection in Brussels.
Emanuela earned a degree with honors in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA with honors at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, in the US. In her private life, she is devoted to her family and young son.

Emanuela assiste i clienti del settore Health (Farmaceutico, Diagnostica, Device, Servizi) e Media con un ulteriore focus verso i talenti digitali nei diversi settori e nel Digital Health in particolare. Ha sviluppato una rilevante esperienza nel supportare i Family Owned Business e le aziende nei portfolio dei Private Equity.
Prima di entrare in Egon Zehnder, Emanuela è stata Manager in Bain & Company lavorando in Italia, Francia e Lussemburgo. Si è focalizzata principalmente nei progetti strategici di organizzazione in contesti di crescita e turnaround in diversi settori, in particolare nei beni di consumo. Precedentemente, Emanuela ha conseguito uno stage presso la Commissione Europea di Bruxelles nella Direzione Generale per la Salute e la Protezione del Consumatore.
Emanuela si è laureata con lode in Discipline Economiche e Sociali presso l’Università Bocconi di Milano e ha conseguito un MBA presso la Kellogg School of Management alla Northwestern University, US.
