Zachary Pomerantz is a Consultant in Egon Zehnder’s Global Services Practice and serves as the U.S. Head of Travel and Leisure. Based in New York, he advises clients across the real estate, travel, hospitality, and sustainability sectors, bringing a unique blend of operational depth and strategic insight. His background in asset management—spanning public and private platforms—equips him to guide organizations through complex leadership transitions and transformation initiatives.
Hospitality is my guiding principle and building life-long relationships is my passion. I’m driven by a strong desire to apply my personal and professional experience to find solutions for stakeholders globally.
He leads top-of-the-house engagements including CEO and C-suite succession, board development, executive onboarding, and team effectiveness programs. He is also a founding member of Egon Zehnder’s Space Technology Practice, where he partners with clients across the commercial and defense space ecosystem—from satellite and launch platforms to geospatial intelligence and orbital infrastructure. Across all sectors, Zach is known for his collaborative style, strategic agility, and ability to align leadership with mission-critical business goals.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Zach was the Senior Vice President in charge of asset management at AR Global. Prior to that, he held the role of Asset Manager at ProMed Properties, and earlier was responsible for managing residential and commercial assets at Olshan Properties, Swig Equities, and Tishman Speyer.
A graduate of Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration, Zach brings his passion for hospitality, true partnership, and a “Life is Service” mindset to every client engagement. Outside of work, is active in the leadership and cultural community through board and committee roles with organizations such as the Cornell Hotel Society and previously with the Juilliard School, the James Beard Foundation, and the American Museum of Natural History.
