Hélène Reltgen, a core member of Egon Zehnder’s global Board and CEO practices, led the firm’s global and European Technology & Communicationspractices for 11 years. Beforehand she also founded and headed the global Digital Practice. Hélène’s work concentrates on the areas of CEO succession, board advisory, senior leadership development, and organizational change.

I try to find and help develop leaders who will give greater purpose to their teams and organizations.

Hélène draws on nearly 20 years of experience for mastering leadership challenges. Among other things, she has headed multiple CEO succession projects for CAC 40 and SBF 120 companies as well as private-equity and venture-backed enterprises. In addition, Hélène has contributed to several Fortune 500 CEO successions in the technology, digital, and media sectors. She focuses on leadership and organizational change situations in technology disruption and M&A contexts across all tech-impacted sectors, including financial, industrial, and consumer products and services. Hélène leads our Technology Practice in France and is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s global Digital Transformation, Chief Technology Officers, and Diversity & Inclusion practices and has developed and led several of the firm’s global client relationships. 

Hélène supplements her work for Egon Zehnder by serving as a Non-Executive Director of Alpha MOS, a stock-market-listed company that designs and manufactures analytical instruments, and chairs its Nomination & Compensation Committee. She is also a board member and General Secretary of the Harvard Business School Club of France and contributes to a number of pro bono causes including diversity and art. 

Hélène earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from ESSEC in France. She is also certified and trained in various fields of coaching and leadership innovation. She was previously an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company and a Financial Analyst with Morgan Stanley International in London.

Hélène Reltgen est Directeur-Associé chez Egon Zehnder, qu’elle a rejoint en 1999. Elle a longtemps dirigé la Practice Technologie et Communications monde et fondé la Practice Digital globale. Hélène est membre actif de la Practice Board Consulting, et a participé à de nombreuses missions pour les Conseils d’Administration de grandes groupes du CAC 40 comme de sociétés de portefeuilles de fonds d’investissement et venture capital. Hélène a également mené nombre projets de conduite du changement - ruptures de business models, fusions et acquisitions, ou transformation digitale cross-sectorielle, culturelle et organisationnelle. Ces projets incluent des successions de Présidents et Directeurs Généraux, recrutement et coaching de dirigeants, développement du leadership individuel et collectif.

Avant de rejoindre Egon Zehnder, Hélène Reltgen fut Manager chez McKinsey & Co à Paris, de 1995 à 1999, et préalablement, Analyste Financier chez Morgan Stanley à Londres, de 1990 à 1993.

Hélène Reltgen est diplômée de l'ESSEC Paris et de la Harvard Business School à Boston.
