Meriem Ould-Rouis, based in Paris, leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Services, and Human Resources practices in France. She advises boards and CEOs on collective and individual talent issues, and provides support on a wide range of activities including CEO succession, senior leadership recruitment, executive development, and accelerated integration support to leaders transitioning into new roles. In the industrial sector, Meriem has deep expertise recruiting for general management, operations, and research and development roles with clients in automotive, energy, mining, and process industries. In the services sector, she is particularly active in engineering, utilities, and education. A French and Algerian national, she also has substantial experience working in the North African and sub-Saharan francophone regions.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Meriem was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, based in Paris, where she worked with financial services and retail clients. Previously, she was Corporate Technical Director at the steelmaker Wheelabrator Allevard, now Winoa. Earlier, she was Production Manager with the aluminum company Péchiney.
Meriem has an MBA from INSEAD, an MSc from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, and an MSc from Ecole Polytechnique, France. When not working, she enjoys playing pantomimes with her three sons.
