Mikaela Sundberg, based in Stockholm, leads the Swedish Services Practice and is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s global Industrial Practice Group. While focusing on these sectors, Mikaela advises clients on key C-suite, Board and other critical leadership recruitments across multiple industries. With an international background and deep experience from Industry, Logistics and Supply Chain, Professional Services as well as Owner/Founder-led companies, she is passionate about global trade and guiding business leaders through challenging transformations.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Mikaela held a number of both commercial and operational leadership positions (COO, MD, CEO) with companies such as A.P Moller Maersk, PwC and in the Renewable Energy sector. She has also served as Managing Director / Trade Commissioner in Denmark, leading the Swedish Trade Office in Copenhagen and supporting companies to incorporate and commercialise the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Mikaela grew up in France and earned an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and a CEMS Masters in International Management from the University of St Gallen. She grew up in Strasbourg, France, and now lives outside Stockholm with her husband and three school-aged boys with whom she enjoys outdoor activities and travelling.
