Hayley Angus, originally from Vancouver, is based in Toronto and is a member of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice. She specializes in Insurance, Wealth and Asset Management, Retail and Commercial Banking, and FinTech. She is passionate about developing long-term relationships with her clients, connecting them with opportunities, and helping them to create an impact in the economy and society.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Hayley was a member of the North American Financial Services practice group at another global leadership advisory firm, placing CEOs and other C-suite executives. Before that, she worked as a management consultant with Monitor Deloitte, leading teams to design corporate strategies for financial services clients in Canada and Chile. Hayley began her career in international wealth management at Scotiabank.
Hayley earned a Bachelor in Management and Organizational Studies from Western University and an MBA (honours) from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. She has published whitepapers on the talent challenges of the FinTech and incumbent banking sectors and been a guest lecturer at Queens University and the University of Toronto. Hayley has also achieved a high level of fluency in Spanish by working and taking advanced language classes in Santiago de Chile.
Outside work, she enjoys investing in real estate, attending cooking classes at the George Brown Chef School, and traveling to other countries with her husband and young son.
