Kim Henderson

Kim Henderson is Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder’s Washington, D.C. office and previously led the firm’s Consumer Practice for the Americas. She advises CEOs, boards, and senior leaders across the consumer sector on their most important leadership decisions. Kim’s work spans restaurants, hospitality, multi-unit and consumer services businesses, as well as broader consumer brands. She has particular experience in CEO succession and search, leadership assessment and development, and board advisory work. She is also active in the firm’s Technology Officers Practice, advising clients on senior technology leadership. Kim has worked with both large, established companies and high-growth disruptors and particularly enjoys building long-term relationships with leaders and helping them navigate pivotal moments for themselves and their organizations.

Kim joined Egon Zehnder in 2014 as the first consultant in the Washington, D.C. office and quickly became a leader in the firm’s Consumer and Services practices. Previously, she was Senior Director of Professional Services at CEB (now Gartner). Earlier, she worked in the Global Client Group at American Express in London and began her career as an investment banker in New York.

Kim earned a BS in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has two daughters who keep her grounded and entertained. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis, cooking, reading, yoga, and traveling.
