Andreas Gavrielides, Egon Zehnder’s office leader in Athens, is deeply experienced in senior executive search (particularly CEO search) and provides a full range of services including board search, management appraisals, and leadership consulting. He has appraised more than 1000 executives for international companies across industries and geographies, and often advises private equity firms on CEO succession and senior leadership development. Andreas is active in Egon Zehnder’s CEO, Board Consulting, Private Equity, and Technology and Communications Practices.


Andreas started his career as a Market Research Executive at the Middle East Marketing Research Bureau in Cyprus, working for George Vassiliou, who was subsequently elected President of Cyprus. Andreas served as Vassiliou’s Election Campaign Director and, following his election, as his Personal Assistant/Special Advisor. Andreas then relocated to Greece, joining Procter & Gamble as an Assistant Brand Manager. He established Egon Zehnder’s practice in Athens and played a leading role in building the firm’s presence in Turkey and Central Eastern Europe.

Andreas earned a BA in Marketing and an MBA from Texas A&M in the US. He chairs "Alliance for Greece," an NGO aimed at promoting the Greek culture and tourism.
