Matthew Weber is a Consultant at Egon Zehnder, based in Brussels. He specializes in executive and board search, leadership development, and team assessments, partnering with organizations across Private Equity, Technology (B2B SaaS, ICT, Fintech, Telco, CTO/CIOs), Health (Healthcare Services, Animal Health, Consumer Health, Biopharma), and tech-enabled service companies. He works closely with private equity funds and their portfolio companies, helping them build strong leadership teams that drive growth and transformation.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Matthew held leadership roles at Verisure, a private equity-backed technology company, including serving in M&A, as Chief of Staff to the Group CEO, and as a Board Observer. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategy and M&A for clients in healthcare, technology, and telecoms in Belgium and Australia, and also completed an externship at Fonterra, the world’s largest dairy company, working on strategy and M&A initiatives.
Matthew holds an MS in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Born in Belgium to Swiss and Argentinian parents, he brings a global perspective to his work.
