Jason Dehni, based in Hong Kong, is part of Egon Zehnder’s Greater China Practice and deeply involved in the Firm’s Financial Services and Board Advisory Practices for Asia Pacific. He also serves clients in the FinTech and services industries.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Jason was the Hong Kong CEO of Sun Life Financial. Prior to that, he worked at Manulife Financial as the Head of Corporate Strategy at the group level and Chief Marketing & Distribution Officer for Asia. Jason also spent over a decade in the banking sector, holding a number of senior executive positions at Scotiabank with responsibilities for private wealth management, asset management, corporate development and insurance distribution. He began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and Accenture.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences and Economics (with Distinction) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Born and raised in Lebanon, he later moved to the U.S. and then to Canada.
Alongside his work, Jason is an active member of the community: he cofounded a nonprofit organization to help underprivileged children in developing countries and has served on a number of boards including that of the National Ballet of Canada. He also serves as the chairman of a materials science company based in the U.S.
