Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Rohit was a Principal in the New Delhi office of Bain & Company, where he advised clients across numerous industries on growth strategies, go-to-market strategies, and new business development. Previously, Rohit worked with Unilever in India to establish Project Shakti, a rural business. He also worked as a rural specialist with the United Nations Development Program in New York.
Rohit earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and studied economics at Hindu College, Delhi University. He publishes articles on business development in emerging markets in business and academic publications, including a Harvard Business School case study. When not working, Rohit is passionate about Hindustani classical music and enjoys traveling with his wife and 6-year-old daughter. He is also the author of a short novel set in rural India.
