Gilbert E. Forest is a founding partner of Egon Zehnder’s Boston office and active in the firm’s Health and Board Consulting practices. He works closely with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies, with a particular focus on therapeutics and R&D. Gilbert is a trusted advisor to boards, CEOs, and venture capitalists on succession and assessment, in addition to supporting senior academic leaders transitioning to high-level corporate roles.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Gilbert was an attorney on GM’s legal staff, covering international alliances and joint ventures. He was also involved in intellectual property, technology transfer, and regulatory issues, including compliance and governance.
Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Laval University in Quebec City and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He actively supports the quest to cure type 1 diabetes, and enjoys spending time with his family and indulging in his passion for motorcycles and skiing.
