Shriya Gupta

Based in New Delhi, Shriya Gupta is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications practice group with a particular focus on tech-enabled services, and also actively supports clients in the healthcare, consumer and media & entertainment industries as well as the public and social sectors. She is valued as a trusted advisor to family businesses, Indian transnationals of all sizes, venture capital and private equity-backed portfolio companies and multinational organisations. Shriya enjoys engaging with boards, CEOs and senior management teams to support them with C-suite succession, leadership transformation, leadership development and executive assessment.

For a world marked by increasing volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, we don’t just need business leaders. We need leaders for business and society. I’m inspired to transform our leadership paradigms and help shape a better world.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, most recently Shriya worked as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Keystone Strategy in San Francisco, helping Fortune 50 companies tackle challenges at the intersection of business, technology, and economics. That was preceded by the role of Associate General Manager with the Lodha Group in Mumbai, where she worked in corporate strategy and then luxury marketing. Prior to that, Shriya managed the corporate social responsibility agenda of Tata Consultancy Services globally and worked as an advisor for UNICEF UK. She has also worked with the United Nations Development Programme and the International Labour Organisation.

Shriya earned a BA (with honours) in Economics from the University of Delhi’s Hansraj College, an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from Yale University’s School of Management, for which she continues to serve as an alumni interviewer. A committed philanthropist, Shriya supports organisations that address issues related to acid attack victims, survivors of abuse, child education, wildlife and nature conservation, and animal welfare. Outside work, she loves travelling, is a passionate art collector and design enthusiast, and refuels by spending quality time with family and friends.
